How do you train a Chihuahua?

Training a Chihuahua requires patience and consistency. Intelligent dogs, they’re capable of learning a lot, but they can also be stubborn. Positive reinforcement methods such as treats, praise, and petting, work best to guide a Chihuahua’s behavior.

Limit training sessions to brief, regular intervals to keep their attention. Socialization from an early age is also important to help them become well-rounded dogs.
